Values and Beliefs

Baybridge Consulting operates by an unwavering adherance to a set of core values and beliefs. We believe that these are central to everything we do and every interaction with our clients.

Bridge Image
    • Valid information – every attempt is made to gather information that represents all stakeholders and accurately reflects the issues.
    • Free choice – having access to valid information, I provide the pros and cons of each choice available to the client - ultimately the client makes the final choice about direction.
    • Internal commitment – the client owns the choices made and are responsible for decisions.
    • Spirit of inquiry – a love of truth is relentlessly pursued, enabling problems to be solved at their root and with a greater likelihood of permanence.
    • Collaboration – we enter into a mutual contract and work together to reach articulated goals and objectives.
    • Respect – for the rights of all organizational members by enhancing and maintaining self-esteem at all times, making this the first priority.
    • Honesty – to seek opportunities to disclose the impact of each other’s behavior on self and to be open with information at all times.
    • Independence – I encourage the process of growth, development, and separation from my consulting services and from me.
    • Mutual Responsibility – I supply the methods, techniques, theories, etc. to help the client understand and work on his/her problems. Clients supply the energy, commitment, and shared responsibility for the success. I clarify root causes of the problems and collaborate with the client to identify potential solutions, rather than study problems and provide expert solutions.
    • Candor – part of my job is to raise and confront sticky issues with the client. The client always has the right to say no to anything with which the client does not want to deal.
    • Confidentiality – all information is treated with respect, considered confidential, and is never shared without the express permission of the client.
